This is a full day trip from Lima going to the sunny beach town of Paracas. Home to Peru's "Poor Man's Galapagos Islands", Paracas has something for everyone. Take a guided boat tour out to the Ballestas Islands and get a tour of the Paracas National Reserve in the afternoon before coming back to Lima.
Make sure to be ready on time from your pick-up location so the bus can leave on time.
It is hot all year round in Paracas, be sure bring suncream and prepare accordingly.
No need to bring food with you as we stop at the freshest bakery in Peru for breakfast.
Food is not included, although we have discounts in many restaurants.
Depart Lima - We pick up directly from hostels and hotels for safety and comfort. If staying in an Airbnb just email us. Your booking confirmation (ticket) will show you your exact pick-up time (depends on where you are staying!)
06:00am – 10:00amDirect bus to Paracas, a beautiful small town by the sea.
10:00am – 12:00pm2-hour boat tour of the Ballestas Islands. The Ballestas are a smaller version of the Galapagos, but just as great, where you’ll penguins, sea lions, and lots of birds, all in their natural habitat.
14:00pm – 16:00pmParacas National Reserve – Guided tour of one of South America’s biggest protected desert reserves. Stunning Pacific coastline where desert meets ocean.
16:00pm – 20:00pmFree time in Paracas. Relax by the pool, enjoy the beautiful views at the beach, or have some of the freshest seafood in Peru!
20:00pm – 23:45pmLuxury bus back to Lima. Sit back and relax on the comfortable seats while you enjoy a movie onboard (e.g Mrs. Doubtfire / Forrest Gump / etc.). Or lay back, cover yourself up with the blanket on your seat and have a relaxing nap! You will be dropped off directly to your hotel/hostel upon arrival to Lima.
